Der Kaiser

Kurt “Der Kaiser” Weidmann is back for another season with the Cycling-Training.com/ARPT Road Team. Boy are we glad to have him! He is “sehr gut”!

Road Rollin

The Road squad from Cycling-Training.com/ARPT is already showing some great early season form! With 4 practice races under our belts and a healthy dose of skills clinics and workouts, we are already seeing the fruits of our labor. Reese “Rotten” Gary scored a 4th place at the Snelling RR on February 23rd! We have also seen some solid results from Doug “Big Mig” Miglaw. Both Doug and Reese are coming off strong Cyclocross seasons. The entire crew has been working hard and we expect to see more evidence of that work in the upcoming races including the Land Park Crit and the Bariani Road Race.

Keep checking back for all the latest news on the Cycling-Training.com (ARPT) road team!

Cross Closure

The Cycling-Training/ARPT Cross team closed out a strong 2007/2008 Season with some great results in Northern California and especially in the Sacramento Series. The two weekly coached workouts and practice races helped pave the way for several high placings in the A, B and C categories. We are already looking forward to the 2008/2009 Season!

Congrats to Joan Gregg, Gordon Ong, Mike Beretta, Reese Gary, William Youngman, John King, Doug Miglaw, Kurt Weidmann, Greg Ries, Pete Mitchelmore, Rob Edmondson and the entire C-T.com crew for making this such a great season! You are all awesome!

Cycling-Training.com/ARPT will look to add more enthusiastic riders to it’s Cross Development Team for the 2008/2009 season. If you are interested… e-mail Dirk at abruzzobiker@gmail.com.

“Cross-mas” Party

The Cycling-Training.com crew got together this past weekend to celebrate another great year of road and cross fun. Thanks to Paul and Jodie for hosting the party. We ate and drank and told tall tales about the 2007 season. We also gathered around the “Crossmas” tree to snap a few photos. Good times were had by all! A big thanks to all the riders, coaches and supporters that made the 2007 such a great success. More fun is waiting around the corner in the 2008 season!

Hit the Road

That’s right, cross season is quickly nearing it’s end (though we still haven’t had any REAL cross weather). Time to start thinking and prepping about the upcoming road season. Check out more info about the team here.

Cross Race #5

The race this coming weekend has been moved from Beales Point to Granite Beach (back where we were last time) due to “environmental” concerns. Good new is we should definitely be familiar with that terrain!

Italy trips for 2008

We’ve been busy tossin’ around dates. Looks like there will definitely be two trips in 2008. One in the spring and one in the fall. Stay tuned as we get the details hammered out.
